Elitebook 820 G3
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi

i have bought Elitebook 820 G3 to my son. I reinstalled WIN10 to WIN11 (i know that CPU is not suported)

i have also updated FW to a newest version (1.55, now it is running on 1.57)

I have problem with wireless card Intel AC-8260.

WiFi is working fine, but BT is not visible. Nowhere. I dont have an option under BIOS, nor possibility to enable it in OS. Under Device Manager, there is no BT device

I tried to downgrade FW even to a first version 1,05, and it is still not working. I also tried Ubuntu linux, and still nothing.

I have replaced wireless card with another one, from my 840 G3 ntb. And it is all the same. WiFi is working, BT is not enabled.

Funny is, that card from 820 is working fine in 840, with bluetooth option enabled

Does anybody have any idea, what to do?

I think, that i have disabled BT in WIN10, before update. Is this a way, how to enable it? downgrade OS to WIN10?

Or is there another option?

Thx

That is a very old adapter. Please check the following discussions

No new drivers from Intel

Please try the latest Driver from HP (Dec 2, 2021):

Hi @banhien

It didnt help at all. I tried Intel and than Hp driver

(i have first unstalled the previos one)

I think, that i have permanently disabled BT somewhere in BIOS

First i have turnet off BT in win, than, i have upgraded OS to WIN11, than i have updated BIOS to a new version

So BIOS had BT disabled, and in new version this option is not visible

Dont you have any idea, what to do next?
