Hi there, My Intel AX210NGW (No vPro) doesn't seem to work with my HP Laptop 15-ef1183od.
I had previously gotten it to work with my HP Laptop 15-ef0008ca, with both wifi and bluetooth working correctly.
From the hardware spec sheet located at https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c07971844, the computer has a Realtek Wi-Fi CERTIFIED 6™ (1x2) wifi card. What is this 1x2 card? My ef-0008ca had a 2x2 card, and as such I am wondering if this is the cause of it not fully functioning.
Wifi is the part not functioning, something going on here with the pci bus.
Bluetooth works fine, although this is due to it being over USB.
I should note that both have AMD Ryzen processors, the 0008ca being a Ryzen 3 3200u and the 1183od being a Ryzen 7 5700u.

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer if you are having issues with the Realtek card and want to replace it would be to go with this one:
Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro HP part # L35282-005
That is the same model card that HP installed in my x360 15-ee0047nr notebook which has an AMD Ryzen 4500U processor.
You are the first person on this forum that reported an Intel AX210 Wi-Fi card worked in any notebook with an AMD processor.
You will find many posts where it doesn't work. Many.

I see.
I have also gotten the AX210 to work on other numerous ef models with AMD processors before, with almost no issues once drivers were installed, so not sure why this particular model is failing. Thanks for the knowledge.

You're very welcome.
Some examples. These models all have AMD processors...

I have an AX210 in a ton of AMD devices. Ones with an A-12 processor, a Ryzen 3 3000 series, a Ryzen 5 5500u,and also an A-9. All of them HP. 15-BWO32wm, a 17-CP0025cl, a 15-EF1300wm, and a 15-BW011wm. All went in with no issues at all. Now on the 2 15-BWxxx models I had to add a 2nd antenna. If you do not have 2 antennas it will not work. But I have had no issues at all.

Yes, two antennas were connected to the card, and trying it with my Lenovo Thinkpad, as well as another assortment of HP laptops, one with a Ryzen 3 3200u, a Ryzen 5 5500u, the wifi card was confirmed to be working. As such, I'm quite unsure of why it isn't working, as wifi cards using the m.2 A+E key all work the same way, albeit using different pins. I've had many AMD HP models work successfully in the past, so I was just trying to figure out why this one didn't work out fine.
