Several attempts to install an Intel update for my notebook have resulted in the following:
"Installation failed with error code 15613". The update is Intel® Connectivity Performance Suite for Intel® Wireless Products, released 10 Oct 2023.
There was an issue reported earlier this year (March), relating to a similar issue, same error code. HP's virtual assistant was of no use, giving me only limited options to pick from.
Current wifi driver: Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 160MHz
Version: 22.250.1.2, Dated: 7/08/23
Device manager tells me that the driver is up to date
Any help would be appreciated

Hi Gaya1239.
I have followed the steps you outlined down to the driver uninstall process. No errors were encountered up to this point.
However I am a little confused by the drivers you say should be uninstalled. My problem started with a failed update of a wifi driver (under network adapter in the device manager), yet you are saying that ‘battery’ items should uninstalled.
I would have thought that the only one to uninstall would be the one that I was trying to update i.e. Intel Wi-Fi 6EAX211 160mHz. Can you explain, please?
Also, once the wifi adapter is uninstalled how can I download (by wifi) the updated driver?

Hi Gaya 1239
I could not find the wifi driver(Intel Wi-Fi 6EAX211 160mHz) in the link you provided. However I did manage to find it elsewhere on HP's site. I uninstalled the driver, rebooted the notebook, then tried to instal the update. Unfortunately this failed, as had earlier attempts.
Is there nothing else that can be done to resolve my issue? Can I go without this update or will I have similar problems with other HP updates in future?
