HP ZBook 14 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Currently have a Zbook 14 G5 with an Intel Wireless Adaptor AC 8265, I notice that the new G6 comes with a faster adaptor, AC 9560. Was wondering if it is compatible with the G5 Zbook, looking at the specifications it appears to be, wonder if anyone has changed this out?

Hi:

I doubt that it is, but the Intel 9260 should be.  It has basically the same specs.

The 9560 is a CRF (Companion RF) card, and it needs to have a PC where the processor supports the CRF wifi technology.

Trying to put it simply, the 9560 card is not a complete standalone wifi card, like the 9260 and 8265 are.

If the 9560 is not listed as a supported wifi card in your notebook's service manual, I would steer clear of it.
