OMEN by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-wd000 (7B9S0AV)
Microsoft Windows 11
Hello HP Support Team,

I am experiencing recurring issues with the WiFi module on my HP OMEN Gaming Laptop 16-wd0000ci. Below are the details of the hardware and driver in use:

  • WiFi Adapter: Realtek 8852CE WiFi 6E PCI-E NIC
  • Driver Version: 6001.16.158.0 (03 June 2024)

Issue Description:
The WiFi adapter frequently stops detecting networks without any apparent reason. To restore connectivity, I need to perform the following steps:

  1. Turn off WiFi.
  2. Disable the adapter in Device Manager.
  3. Re-enable the adapter in Device Manager.
  4. Turn WiFi back on.

After this process, the WiFi works for a while but eventually stops seeing networks again, causing the current connection to drop.

I have noticed that many users report similar issues with the Realtek 8852CE WiFi 6E adapter on various forums, but I haven't found a definitive solution.

Could you provide any guidance or information on resolving this issue? I would greatly appreciate your assistance in finding a stable fix.

Thank you in advance for your support.

You posted that your notebook's Realtek Wi-Fi adapter has driver version 6001.16.158.0 installed.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to update the driver to the newest version HP has for your notebook's Wi-Fi adapter:
