Hello,

I have recently replaced the factory wlan card with an Intel 9260 (M.2 2330) and experiencing issues with functionality that lead to find existing solutions.Experienced issue is identical with below-mentioned threads.

Discussion 2

Interestingly, whenever I plug out and put the wireless antenna cable back in the card, it functions .. till the next reboot (Attached few screen-caps for clarification).  Presume it is safe to rule out whitelist reasons.

Suspecting problem with power provisioning by the board/wlan NGFF slot and or faulty antenna cable? Note: Changed the antenna cables, issue persists.

Please suggest.

Regards

Hi:

I would say the cause is a result of two things...

1.  Only certain Intel wifi cards work correctly with AMD platforms, such as the 3165 AC 1 x 1.  And that card requires two antenna cables be attached to it.

2. Doesn't your notebook only have one antenna cable?   Those cards need two antenna cables to work properly.

The only dual band wifi card that will work correctly with a single antenna is the RTL8821CE 1 x 1 AC wifi adapter.
