Hi:

 

I don't know about every HP Chromebook, but your model only has Wi-Fi internet access.

 

HP Chromebook 15a-na0047nr

 

There is no RJ-45 ethernet port according to the specs.

 

This USB to RJ-45 ethernet adapter device indicates that it has support for Chromebooks.

Paul - thanks very much for your reply. Much appreciated. I wanted a light use laptop and I'm very tired of Windows. This will be my first Chromebook. And - I'll check out the adaptor.
