Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I have a problem with my WLAN connection or I think it has something to do with the WLAN adapter.
The connection keeps dropping for no apparent reason, that is, there is still a wireless connection to the router but no internet connection. This problem only occurs with this one laptop, all other devices in the household do not have this problem.
After the connection is lost, it is sometimes difficult to get an Internet connection at all. Most of the time the laptop has to be restarted, sometimes the Windwos troubleshooter is enough. This resets the WLAN_Adapter and/or the network adapter. Sometimes this doesn't help either.
I have already tried different drivers, but without differences. Now I have installed the current one.

Maybe someone has an idea.
Thanks a lot

Windows 10 (64bit) 21H2

Hello @ChrisTimtom

Technical test:

Change the wifi channel on your router for 2.4G !

You have to try changing the wifi channel several times and do speed tests. In the present case there are too many other wifi access points using the same channel and therefore there are limitations.

There is a good youtube that explains how to find out what the best channel is using a third party smartphone app !

The video is about speed, but in your case it's about stability of the connection. You should test this in any case !

Very useful and simple:

Please try and get back to here to report your results.

Ok, thanks. I will try it, but the abort also happens when the other devices are off or not in the apartment.

Hello, unfortunately it did not bring anything. I have tried a few channels. The funny thing is that it only happens with the one laptop, and even when the other devices are offline.
Now I have connected a WlAN amplifier and the laptop runs over the network of this amplifier - so far there are no interruptions. Why, however, I can not explain.

Hello @ChrisTimtom

Let me check a little bit deeper:

(1) To help you I need to know the product number (p/n) of your notebook !

You will find this information on the back of your notebook printed in small alphanumeric letters.

The product number (p/n) is legally allowed information, just about the computer, no sensitive data.

It is allowed to post in public, no problem.

(2) Send me a screenshot of the windows device manager list of "network adapters"

(3) Send me the Hardware ID of the wifi device that is causing problems:

Ok, the product number is: B6M85EA#ABD

The other stuff is in the screenshot. However, I don't know what exactly causes problems. I guess the WLAN adapter or some settings - but what do I know 😛

Hello @ChrisTimtom

Is driver version 8.0.1.342 Rev.A or 10.0.0.318 Rev.B installed ?

Please check, I guess it's visible on your tab 'treiber' = driver (english) ?

Hello @ChrisTimtom

(1) Before we start, create a windows restore point ! Very important !
