I have recently upgraded my internet speed provision to 1000 Mbps.
Speed tests show I am receiving this speed to my router and to my desktop etc. However, I am when I run the same speed test on my HP Spectre, I am only getting a max of 150 Mbps.
The hardware in my Spectre is: Intel 802.11AC(2x2)
According to the Intel website, this should provide speeds of 867 Mbps.
I have already spent almost 2 hrs running through all the suggested solutions on the virtual support. All drivers, software etc are up to date. The cables I'm using have been tested on my desktop and provide the high speed connection.
I'm now assuming that the hardware is not working properly and also ask myself if it ever worked at the speed it is supposed to?
Any suggestions would be welcomed.
