Recently, I was trying to pair something to my device's Bluetooth and there wasn't a toggle. I went into the device manager and saw this message: Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43). So I did all the steps I was given. I restarted my device, I booted into safe mode, reinstalled the drivers, rolled back the drivers, turned it off and back on again (lol), and even reset my device to see if it was software causing it. As soon as my computer started again, I booted up device manager and to nobody's surprise, the code was still there. I've done all the steps that I've seen I could take, so it is most likely a hardware issue. Is there any way to replace the Bluetooth module itself, would I have to send it in to repair, or is it just not possible to replace only the module? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers!

Hi:

The bluetooth radio is an integral part of the wifi card, so you would replace the wifi card.

The parts list indicates that your notebook comes with a Realtek RTL8822BE wifi card.

Since you have to replace the wifi card, you may as well upgrade it to this model.

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook, where you can find the wifi card removal and replacement procedure.

Before installing the replacement card, uninstall the wifi and bluetooth devices and drivers in the device manager.

If there is any Realtek bluetooth software programs listed in the windows control panel>programs, uninstall that too.

Shut down the PC and replace the wifi card.
