Hi, so I had a long time issue, but recently I decided to fix it... the problem is that I have Bluetooth headphones, they work perfectly with my Android devices, but every time I try to connect them to my computer, when I configure the connection it's establish, but right after the link is dropped, and the headphones appear like the connection was established and I can "pair them" but that function doesn't work as it says they aren't visible to be detected...

I tried to update my drivers... no luck on it, I tried the guides that are to fix this issue but every attempt was without success, today I tested my headphones on a friend's laptop and they worked just fine, so it might be some issue in the detection system from my computer.

It seems that they established a connection but then the configuration of the headphones is not done correctly since the information shown in the device manager is not as it's shown in my friend's computer.

perhaps I need some information about how this process of detection and configuration is made and what drivers provide this behavior to see if I can fix this issue.

My hardware I own an HP Envy 15j-t100 and I upgrade the wifi board to an BCM94352 HMB 802.11 AC

Hi, @JoaquinDillen

Check your Broadcom Bluetooth driver version.

A driver is normally installed by Windows automatically, but I don't know what version it is for your notebook's Wi-Fi adapter.

I have a Broadcom 4.0 Bluetooth device and W10 installed 12.01.750.

This is the latest one HP has for that model Wi-Fi adapter:

12.0.1.921

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp75001-75500/sp75330.exe

If Ub6424 is unable to help you get the BT to work properly, if you want to invest a little money into the problem, you can install the Intel equivalent to your notebook's Wi-Fi adapter and that is this one:

Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 Wi-Fi + BT 4.0    HP Part # 710661-001

You can find this model Wi-Fi card on eBay.  Search by the HP part number, not the model of the Wi-Fi card.

Intel supported this card with drivers sometime into mid-2019, so perhaps the different card with more up to date BT drivers would work.
