Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Sure! Let's troubleshoot the connection between your HP Photosmart C4780 All-in-One Printer and your computer via Wi-Fi. Follow these steps:
Check Printer’s Wi-Fi Connection
- On the printer, go to Setup > Network > Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the instructions to reconnect it to your Wi-Fi network.
- Ensure the printer and computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Restart Devices
- Restart your printer, router, and computer.
- Wait for 2 minutes after restarting and check if the printer appears on your computer.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor
- Download HP Print and Scan Doctor from HP’s official site.
- Open the tool and select your printer to diagnose and fix connection issues.
Check Printer Status on Computer
- Windows:
- Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click your printer and select "Set as default printer".
- If the printer is offline, right-click and select "Use Printer Online".
- Mac:
- Open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Remove and re-add your printer if necessary.
Reinstall Printer Drivers
- Uninstall old drivers:
- Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features, find HP Photosmart C4780, and uninstall it.
- Download and install the latest drivers from HP’s support page.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
