I just purchased this laptop and the wifi has not worked from the get go . I was sent some instructions from this forum and I thank the person that sent them . But they did not work in order to use this pc I had to purchase a usb to RJ45 adapter which works like I'm hardwired so it's good but the point was not to use it or have the wires on my desk

Thank you for posting back.
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Does your computer able to see your home network name?
- What happens when you try to connect to your home network?
- Any error message or code while connecting to a wireless network?
Keep me posted for further assistance.
