Welcome to our HP Community forum!
Hi! Thanks for your question. The HP 17-c0000 series typically does not come with a backlit keyboard, unless it was specially configured with one at purchase.
You can check by looking for a backlight icon on your F5 or Spacebar key and trying Fn + F5 or Fn + Spacebar. If nothing happens and the icon isn’t present, then your unit likely doesn’t support keyboard lighting.
You can also double-check by entering your full product number on HP's Support page to view your model's specifications.
Kind Regards,
