Hi, I recently purchased an HP laptop a month ago and it will not detect my wifi upstairs. It detected it just fine for the first week, now it won't see my router. My prior laptop never had an issue.
My HP will only see my router when I am very close, and even then not always at a great signal strength.
No matter what I try - driver update, reinstall driver, etc - nothing works.
My product ID is 00325-81919-55350-AAOEM
My processor is Intel Core i5-1035G1
My network adapter is Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11ac PCIe
Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this? Thank you.

I just bought the same (or a very similar) laptop and have the same issue. I have to be right on top of the router to get it to reliably connect to wifi and even in this case it's some times only getting a poor connection. If I move away from the router it dies. I am working from someone at HP tech support, and they have done everything they can do, and we are now re-installing the OS.
