Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop does not have wifi option. In the device manager, the Wireless adapter Inter(R) Wireless-AC 9560 160MHz status shows the following

"This device cannot start. (Code 10)

{Operation Failed}

The requested operation was unsuccessful."

Please help.

Hi,

What is the exact model or product number of your notebook.

model

Have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the driver. You could try just uninstalling in device manager and restart the PC and it should reinstall the driver.

You can also find the driver in the product page online for your notebook.

Let me know,

David

HP Pavilion - 15-cs3006tx Product No. 8LX85PA

I have tried the following:

1. Uninstalling and reinstalling driver from device manager and restarting

2. Disabling and enabling driver

3. Reset the Bios wifi adapter

4. Update Bios

5. Force shut down the laptop by holding the power button

6. Install the latest driver from HP website

Please help. My motherboard was changed by HP service person and the problem started after that.

I see they never solved your problem.  I am having issues with my Pavilion 360 whereas it will not even look for Wi-Fi.  It will only connect via Ethernet.  Only commenting in case they actually solve your problem I may get a message to review this thread,
