Hi @Ladyb450,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your HP 15s-Eq1000 Laptop PC. Let's try a few troubleshooting steps to help you regain internet access.

  • Check physical connections: Ensure that all cables connecting your modem/router to your laptop are securely plugged in. If you're using Wi-Fi, make sure the wireless adapter is turned on.
  • Restart your devices: Reboot your laptop, modem, and router. Sometimes, a simple restart can fix connectivity issues.
  • Check for airplane mode: Make sure your laptop's airplane mode is turned off. This feature disables all wireless connections, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. You can usually find the airplane mode option in the notification center or in the laptop's settings.
  • Verify Wi-Fi settings: Double-check that you are connected to the correct Wi-Fi network and that you have entered the correct password. Sometimes, networks with similar names can cause confusion.
  • Troubleshoot network adapter: Open the "Device Manager" on your laptop (you can search for it in the Windows search bar) and expand the "Network adapters" section. If you see any yellow exclamation marks or red crosses, there might be an issue with the network adapter. Right-click on the problematic adapter and select "Update driver" to install the latest driver software.
  • Reset network settings: In some cases, resetting your network settings can resolve connectivity problems. Go to the Control Panel (or Settings) and search for "Network Reset." Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your network settings.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
