Since the last windows update, I have been having problems with my computer staying connected to wifi. Usually, when I have not used the computer for a while it will go to airplane mode and will not acknowledge any wireless networks. I try to turn airplane mode off and it will not. So, I go to restart and many times the computer will not restart. It just spins and spins. Finally, I will hold down the power button until it shuts down. Then to restart I have to wait a while as it will not start right back up. When it does finally restart it finds the network and all is good for a while and then we repeat.
I have updated the drivers and I have reloaded windows with the option to retain personal files.
Thanks for any help.

Hi
First:- Turn off the computer, press and hold the PWR button for 4 seconds.
Then - Leave only keyboard and mouse connected, disconnect all externally connected
devices such as Docking Station, USB storage devices, displays, and printers.
Unplug the AC adapter from the computer.
Next - Press and Hold the Power button for 15 seconds to Hard Reset.
Rinse and Repeat; Re-Connect the AC adapter.
NOW begin checking/testing/proving the Hardware is fit for purpose.
Power on your PC, press ESC (repeatedly), then F2 at the prompt.
Choose System Tests (Fast Test does a 4 minute hardware check).

After waiting a day the problem still persists. It loses the wireless connection and then gets stuck in airplane mode. Sometimes I can get it off of airplane mode but it still does not find any networks. So I reboot and hope for the best.
Any further suggestions.
