Hi, my partner bought laptop back at the end of last year (2023) . After about a mother it started having extremely slow internet connection after about 2-3 min of logging in. It would kill the entire network. It doesn't matter if the laptop on wireless or LAN.
I have tried every tweak to the settings I can think of and have found. I have checked for IP conflicts and all the usual things. I have tried the latest drivers, the original generic windows drives, some older drivers. Nothing. Still killing all connections.
I tried it tethered to my phone. Same issue.
I tried it with a Linux usb. Perfect. Obviously not a hardware issue...
Looking online it looks like the network card is known to have crap windows driver. Has anyone got any good ideas? I am thinking the only thing left is a full wipe and reinstall removing all of the hp crap that comes installed and hope that sorts it.
Very disappointing for a new laptop not to have a decent network driver in this day and age

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer would be to update the Wi-Fi driver to the latest version HP has for the RTL8822CE Wi-Fi adapter.
