@7Aloha, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop that won't connect to internet!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
I see you're having trouble connecting your HP laptop to the internet, and that error message about the virtual network adapter isn’t helping much. No worries—I’ll help you get this sorted out!
Check Your Network Adapter
Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
Expand Network adapters and look for any adapters with a yellow triangle (⚠️) next to them.
If you see one, right-click and select Update driver > Search automatically.
Disable Virtual Network Adapters (if you don’t need them)
Open Device Manager again.
Under Network adapters, look for any virtual adapters (e.g., VPN adapters, Hyper-V adapters).
Right-click and Disable them (but don’t disable your primary Wi-Fi adapter).
Run the Network Troubleshooter
Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status.
Click Network troubleshooter and follow the steps.
If the issue is still there, let me know! Also, do you use a VPN? Sometimes VPN software can interfere with normal internet connections.
Looking forward to your update! 😊
Take care, and have an amazing day!
