HP Pavilion Dv7-7073ca Entertainment Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

A while ago one of the teeny tiny tabs broke off of my wireless card and is stuck inside of the cable connector (meaning it will not connect physically to the new card I bought.)  I have tried everything to pry it out but have come to the conclusion I will just have to replace the actual cables.  When I google it however, all I can find is instructions to replace the card itself.  Could anyone help me with the cable replacement directions please?  Also, would anyone happen to have a link or name of the actual part (the cables) to purchase?  I’m not really positive what they’re called!

Thanks in advance!

Thank you!  I may be in trouble unfortunately... it appears that the part is no longer available and is out of stock everywhere I can find 😞  I'll keep looking!

Do a search on Ebay or Amazon for HP DV7 Antenna

There's a couple different ones, but they aren't for my model.  Would that matter?

I'd likely go with the Amazon one since it's new and could be here faster, but it's not the same part number so I don't know if it would work.

The same picture and description but only $30???

If you are going to do it, start to take it apart and then you should get a better look at them.
