Hello,

A few hours after I changed my SSD, I wanted to connect my headphones via bluetooth and found out that the button was missing. Checked in the system and when I try to add a bluetooth device, it says the bluetooth isn't activated.

I tried going into Device Manager, clicked on "show hidden devices" and it appeared. I uninstalled the driver (I saw a help page saying restarting will reinstall the driver) which unfortunately did nothing and now the bluetooth is completely gone.

I can't even go back as windows says "this option is not available anymore". Now the only options I see is either go into the BIOS or put back the previous SSD and hope it would come back. Is there anything else I could try ?

Edit : I got into the BIOS and updated the firmware, which seems to have fixed the problem. I guess this was an "easy" fix"after all

What is its wifi adapter ? Most likely it is a combo card and you have to download Bluetooh driver and install to your machine.

Regards.

Realtek RTL8822CE 802.11ac PCIe Adapter according to the Device Manager. While updating the firmware in the BIOS has fixed the problem, I'll keep your solution in mind if the problem comes back
