It would help to know exactly what model of computer, keyboard and mouse you have.

If you have a Bluetooth keyboard and Bluetooth mouse as well as a computer with Bluetooth built in, you should be able to pair the keyboard and mouse with the computer's built in Bluetooth - no dongle required.

If you have a Bluetooth keyboard and Bluetooth mouse but your computer does not have built in Bluetooth, any commercially available USB Bluetooth dongle that supports your version of Windows should work. (There is one wrinkle - if either the keyboard or mouse use Bluetooth LE, you must buy a dongle with Bluetooth LE support).

If you have a wireless keyboard and wireless mouse that uses a standard other than Bluetooth, you probably need the proprietary dongle from the manufacturer of the keyboard and mouse.
