Welcome to our HP Community forum!
To find the MAC address of your HP 15-fd0132wm, follow these steps:
Method 1: Using Command Prompt (Quickest Way):
- Press Win + R, type cmd, and press Enter.
- In the Command Prompt window, type: ipconfig /all
- Press Enter and look for the Wireless LAN adapter Wi-Fi or Ethernet adapter section.
- The MAC Address will be listed as "Physical Address" (format: XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX).
Method 2: Using Network Settings:
- Open Settings (Win + I) and go to Network & Internet.
- Click Wi-Fi (or Ethernet if using a wired connection).
- Click Hardware Properties—your MAC address will be listed under "Physical Address."
Method 3: From the Router (If Already Connected):
- If your laptop is connected to Wi-Fi, log in to your router's admin page and check the list of connected devices for the MAC address.
Important Notes:
- The MAC address should be in hexadecimal format (XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX or XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX).
- It won’t be printed on the laptop box—the MAC address is unique to each network adapter.
If you're still having troubles, let me know which method you tried and what error you’re seeing.
Hope this was helpful.
Kind Regards,
