HP Power Pavilion 15-cb030ng Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After McAfee initial product expired, I can connect to my WLan but not to the internet anymore. All other devices can connect to that internet. I completely remove McAfee with that removal assistant, but after 1 day of trying, turning of windows firewall and simiiar, I still cannot connect to Wlan. LAN is still working.

How to solve the problem?

Why does HP install Antivirus Software that impairs basic functionality still after being deinstalled?

I was happy with my HP-Notebook until now, but these kind of problems should just not turn up and might prevent me from buying further HP products.

The issues generally occur when there are more than 1 antivirus program installed on the pc

Refer to this link: http://mcafee-removal-tool.com to remove the software completely from the device.

Once done create a new user account using this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4026923/windows-10-create-a-local-user-or-administrator-acc...

And check if the issue persists.
