Hi @sisqan,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

When Bluetooth is not appearing in the Device Manager and reinstalling the drivers hasn't resolved the issue, there are a few more steps we can take to troubleshoot the problem:

Check Bluetooth Services:

  • Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  • Look for the following services and ensure they are running:
    • Bluetooth Support Service
    • Bluetooth Audio Gateway Service
    • Bluetooth User Support Service
  • If they are not running, right-click on each service and select Start. If they are running, right-click and select Restart.

Check Device Manager for Hidden Devices:

  • Open Device Manager.
  • Click on View in the menu and select Show hidden devices.
  • Look under Bluetooth and Network adapters for any hidden devices or any devices with a yellow exclamation mark. If you find any, try to update the drivers or uninstall and reinstall them.

Enable Bluetooth in BIOS:

  • Restart your laptop and enter the BIOS setup (usually by pressing Esc, F2, F10, or Delete during boot).
  • Check the settings for Bluetooth and ensure it is enabled. Save changes and exit the BIOS.

Use Windows Troubleshooter:

  • Press Windows + I to open Settings.
  • Go to Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
  • Find and run the troubleshooter for Bluetooth.

Update Windows:

  • Ensure your Windows 11 is fully up-to-date. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.

Kindly check the next steps in the next post.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance

Hi @sisqan,

Please find the next set of steps below.

Reset Network Settings:

  • Open Settings.
  • Go to Network & Internet > Status.
  • Scroll down and click on Network reset. This will remove and reinstall all network adapters, and set other networking components back to their original settings.

Check for Driver Conflicts:

  • Sometimes, conflicting drivers can cause issues. In Device Manager, right-click on your Wi-Fi adapter and select Uninstall device. Do the same for any Bluetooth-related entries.
  • Restart your laptop and let Windows automatically reinstall the drivers.

System Restore:

  • If the problem started after a recent update, you can try performing a system restore to revert your system to a state before the issue began.
  • Press Windows + R, type rstrui, and press Enter.
  • Follow the prompts to choose a restore point and restore your system.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, it's possible there could be a hardware issue with the Bluetooth module. In that case, contacting HP phone support for further assistance.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
