hi there.

i recently bought an ex uk desktop computer and instaled windows 8.1 ,64 bit operating system and i tried to install mediatek 802.11 wifi adapter but it doesnt recogonise it...i have tried to install and uninstal the drivers but it stil doesnt identify it what should i do?

 

(*i have tried the mediatek 802.11 wifi adapter on my laptop and it has worked fine)

 

please help me

Hi, @bamkubwa

 

You'll have to get the W8.1 wifi driver for the adapter you have directly from the Mediatek website.

 

You will need to know what model wifi chip it has...
