Microsoft Edge not loading

I switch on laptop enter password then click M/Edge icon in task bar - initially looks like M/Edge loading but goes back to previous screen - even if I try to open emails same thing happens

Is this about the lack of internet access, rather than a Microsoft program issue?

A quick test is to ping your adapter, router and internet.

WinKey + R and type in cmd.exe ping

Then in box/screen that opens type

ping 127.0.0.1

ping 192.168.0.1

ping bbc.co.uk

and get results like these...
