I need help with recovering both of my accounts. My location shows one IP and where I have been located. I use my pc for personal because for work, I am an Independent contractor and I cannot access my clouds for both emails. I am getting 2026-10 Security Update (KB5127648) (26300.9711) Install error - 0x80070005. Due to Microsoft locking my accounts. No form of troubleshooting helps. There are no live agents to assist. The press and hold to confirm if we are AI or not does not work. Sending codes to email and phone number does not work. My account got suspended due to me sending "MY" resume to "MY" email address. I cannot open my downloaded files that requires for me to login into Microsoft. I am very frustrated. This has been happening for over a month now and no success. Appealing with microsoft does not help because they are sending me the same instructions that does not work? How can HP help us? We have no one to speak up for us. I have seen that there are millions of users experiencing this said issue with Microsoft. Years of datas are being lost because Microsoft does not want to update their programming and providing us with better ways to verify our accounts. What happens to use setting our own security questions so that we can recover our own account? PLEASE HP, you are my last resort for someone to contact Microsoft for them to unblock both of my primary and backup accounts. After trying to verify my account

Hi @ToshaeA
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query.
Standard recovery forms (ACSR) do not lift terms-of-service locks: When an account is locked due to a "Services Agreement violation"—which automated filters can accidentally trigger when sending files like resumes—the standard Account Recovery Support Request form (ACSR) at account.live.com/Acsr will not work and is often auto-rejected or left unanswered. The ACSR form is meant only for forgotten passwords, whereas terms violations require a safety compliance review.
Live agents and hardware manufacturers (HP) cannot override account locks: Microsoft support agents and advocates are strictly prohibited from manually sending password reset links, changing account details, or unblocking accounts. Additionally, third-party PC manufacturers such as HP do not have administrative access to Microsoft’s account or digital safety infrastructure, so HP cannot contact Microsoft or unblock accounts on a customer's behalf.
Steps to Resolve
- Submit the Digital Safety Account Reinstatement Form: Navigate directly to the official Account Reinstatement page at https://www.microsoft.com/digitalsafety/account-reinstatement. Select the option indicating "I am getting an error that my account has been temporarily blocked" and submit your details to Microsoft's Digital Safety team.
- Submit an Appeal via the Sign-In Page: Go to account.microsoft.com and attempt to sign in. When the lock screen appears, click the link that begins with aka.ms/ to initiate an Online Safety review request.
- Run the Sign-In Helper Tool: Use the automated Microsoft Account Sign-In Helper to verify if any specific automated reinstatement paths are available for your email addresses.
- Await Online Safety Email Review: After submitting the reinstatement form, a Microsoft Online Safety agent will review the request and respond via email. Do not submit duplicate forms, as sending multiple requests can slow down response times

Take care and have an amazing day!
