Hi:

According to the hardware ID you posted, the BT adapter belongs to an Intel Centrino 2230 wifi adapter, correct?

If so, Intel no longer supports that wifi adapter with drivers.

All of the W10 Bluetooth drivers on your notebook's support page do not contain driver support for the hardware ID you posted.

You can try right-clicking on the generic bluetooth adapter in the device manager, click on the driver tab, and then click on the automatic search and see if the driver installs that way.

If you do have the Intel 2230, do yourself a favor, and upgrade the card to this one, which has full driver support for W10.

Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 WiFi + BT 4.0    HP Part # 710661-001

The card is readily available on eBay or Amazon, and it doesn't cost very much at all.

Do your search by the HP part number, not by the model number of the wireless card.

Hi,

Thanks for clarification, Yes it does work through windows update. But I was trying to add the driver to task sequence, because of which I was trying to find that out.

Best,

MP.
