(HP 15 DW-1000 Series, Windows11)
I've been struggling with this for just over a week now, troubleshooting anything and everything possible to fix this.
I've Uninstalled, Reinstalled, and Updated drivers
I've reset all my hardware settings
I've reset my networking settings
I've tried the HP support protocol but it would almost always crash my laptop
I've adjusted BIOS settings
And just about anything else
Basically, when I try to connect to my laptop's mobile hotspot, it will connect for .2 secconds then disconnect. I try multiple times and then any device trying to connect will say incorrect password. I keep trying and then the device will say internet keeps disconnecting. No, my password is not incorrect. To ensure this, I changed it to 12345678, and when entering manually multiple times it still didn't work. When looking at settings, it will say that my device is connected for a little while, but then change to 0 devices connected. Yes, the auto-off power saving function is turned off. Surprisingly, it does work (sometimes) using bluetooth mode, but when it is in this mode I get a much lower speed, to the point of not being usable. Please help, I'm sick of the constant messages of "Have you tried turning it off and on again" and "Just warranty it."
