My speaker used to connect easily with different Bluetooth devices (Android and Apple phones; Win 10 PC, etc.) but suddenly it ceased to detect any of them and to be detected. It switches on and off regularly, but it gives no more sign of Bluetooth capability.
I tried also to reset it via the call button, but no way, Bluetooth seems to be dead.
I'd like to know al least if there is something which can be done to resuscitate it or I have to buy a new wireless speaker.
Thanks for letting me know.

Hi @Stipe2,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
When facing issues with a Bluetooth speaker like your HP Roar Plus Purple Wireless Speaker not detecting devices or being detected, there are several troubleshooting steps you can take before considering the purchase of a new device. Since you've already tried resetting it via the call button without success, here are a few more suggestions:
Firmware Update: Check if there's a firmware update available for your speaker. Some devices have a companion app that allows you to update the firmware. For others, you might need to check the manufacturer's website for instructions on how to update it.
Comprehensive Reset: You mentioned attempting to reset it using the call button, but it's worth checking the manual for a more comprehensive reset procedure. Some devices have a specific combination of buttons that need to be pressed or held down for a certain amount of time to perform a factory reset. Click Here
1. Power on one of the speakers. 2. Pair the Bluetooth device to this speaker. 3. Power on the second speaker. 4. Press and hold the talk button and the back button on the first speaker to make it the sender. 5. When the first speaker says, “Connect me,” set the second speaker as the receiver by pressing and holding the talk button and the forward button. 6. When the speakers say, “Connected,” they are in stereo mode. It takes about seven seconds for the sender to connect to the receiver. To end stereo mode, turn off the receiver. The next time you turn on the speakers, they will attempt to pair with each other. To disconnect the TWS pairing, turn off the receiver and then press and hold the talk button for six seconds.
Battery Check: Ensure the speaker's battery is fully charged. A low battery can sometimes cause connectivity issues.
Interference: Try to minimize interference by turning off other Bluetooth devices in the area or by moving the speaker away from Wi-Fi routers, microwaves, or other electronic devices that could cause interference.
If these does not work, it must be a hardware issue.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
