If your HP Laptop 17t-cn300 has stopped connecting to Bluetooth devices, here are several troubleshooting steps you can follow to resolve the issue:
1. Check Bluetooth Settings
Ensure Bluetooth is Turned On:
- Press Windows + I to open Settings.
- Go to Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
- Make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
Re-pair the Device:
- Remove the Bluetooth device from the list of paired devices and then try to pair it again.
- In Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices, select the device and click Remove device.
- Then click Add Bluetooth or other device to pair it again.
2. Update Bluetooth Drivers
Device Manager:
- Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
- Expand the Bluetooth section.
- Right-click your Bluetooth adapter and select Update driver.
- Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
HP Support Site:
- Visit the HP Support website.
- Search for your specific laptop model (HP Laptop 17t-cn300).
- Download and install the latest Bluetooth drivers.
3. Restart Bluetooth Services
- Services Window:
- Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- In the Services window, scroll down to find Bluetooth Support Service.
- Right-click it and select Restart.
- Ensure the service's startup type is set to Automatic.
4. Run the Bluetooth Troubleshooter
- Troubleshooter:
- Press Windows + I to open Settings.
- Go to Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
- Find and run the Bluetooth troubleshooter.

Please find the next steps below.
5. Check for Windows Updates
- Update Windows:
- Press Windows + I to open Settings.
- Go to Update & Security > Windows Update.
- Check for updates and install any available updates.
6. Reset Network Settings
- Network Reset:
- Press Windows + I to open Settings.
- Go to Network & Internet > Status.
- Scroll down and click Network reset.
- Follow the instructions to reset your network settings.
7. Check Airplane Mode
- Airplane Mode:
- Make sure Airplane mode is turned off.
- Press Windows + A to open the Action Center and ensure Airplane mode is not enabled.
8. Reinstall Bluetooth Driver
- Device Manager:
- Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
- Expand the Bluetooth section.
- Right-click your Bluetooth adapter and select Uninstall device.
- Restart your computer. Windows should automatically reinstall the Bluetooth driver.
9. BIOS/UEFI Settings
- Check BIOS:
- Sometimes, Bluetooth can be disabled in the BIOS/UEFI settings.
- Restart your computer and enter the BIOS/UEFI setup (usually by pressing Esc, F2, F10, or Del during startup).
- Look for Bluetooth settings and ensure it is enabled.
