HP PAVILION 15-P002NIA NOTEBOOK
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Some months ago I replaced my damaged Broadcom Wifi adapter with a Realtek Wifi adapter (Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11 bgn Wi-Fi Adapter). With this new adapter, any time i restart my PC the Wifi  doesn't work and it also does not appear in the Device Manager. The only way i am able to make it work is by shutting down and rebooting or i set the PC to sleep then wake it from the power button. I also have the latest drivers from HP support assistant installed.

Hi

Just to be certain, you did purge all the old WiFi drivers etc?

Ccleaner or similar may help.

The latest appear to be 2015.

Although I have....

Name InterfaceDescription DriverFileName DriverDate DriverVersion NdisVersion
---- -------------------- -------------- ---------- ------------- -----------
WiFi Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11 bgn Wi-Fi Ad... rtwlane02.sys 2019-03-22 2024.0.4.108 6.70
Ethernet Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller rt640x64.sys 2015-05-05 10.1.505.2015 6.40

AND it is recognised in the BIOS?  Press ESC repeatedly and then F1
