When I am in our countryside home and I am in a side room a bit further away from the wifi router, my wifi connection is so weak it sometimes disconnects. However, if any other member of the family comes to the same room with their own laptop, their connection is stable enough. Maybe a bit weaker, but stable and usable and never disconnects. It is literally just my laptop that does not get stable wifi in this room.

This is a €1000 laptop so I am very surprised why its network adapter would be so bad. If I plug in a TP link external adapter originally purchased for a desktop PC, it works way better.

I have an Intel Wifi 6 AX201 160 MHz. The signal, according to NetSpot is between -67 and -78 Hz, -73 being the average.

I'd appreciate any advice. With other family members being problem-free and me having a better connection with the TP-Link adapter, I am quite sure it is the Intel adapter. Thank you!

What is your router ? I could use my old router from anywhere, even outside at my garden. Recently my ISP replaced old router with a tp-link triple band but all my machines upstairs 6 notebooks (3 HP's (one is Zbook Firefly G10), 2 Dells, 1 Surface)  and 2 Samsung tablets) keep dropping few times each day, sometimes could not re-connect. I bought an extender and problem fixed.

Regards.
