My printer and laptop will not communicate it says the printer is not connected to the internet

HP Deskjet 2630 will not communicate with my laotop however the laptop will communicate with my wifes laptop

We have tried uninstalling the printer and reinstalling, we have tried disconnecting the internet and reconnecing with no success  we have an instant ink contract which we are now not able to use

I am guessing that your wife's laptop is connected "directly" to the printer.

The printer needs to connect to the router as described on page 62

There is a 2 minute timeout so be ready to press the WPS button on the router.   There is usually a red reset button or possibly the reset button is behind a pin hole.  That is NOT the WPS button.

Once the printer is on-line, the blue Wireless light stops blinking and remains on

Go to your laptops and search for the printer. If using HP Smart on the laptop, delete the printer and then "add it back" using search.
