Hi:

 

Every HP EliteBook 830 G5 Notebook PC comes with a SIM card slot.

 

What 90% of them do not have is the required WWAN adapter that connects to the cellular network.

 

If your notebook does not have one of these model WWAN adapters listed under the Network Adapters device manager category, inserting a SIM card in the slot serves no purpose.
