HP Elitebook 8560w
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Laptop suddenly had an issue with wireless function,My device is HP Elitebook Workstation 8560w with P/N SN652UP#AC4....

I had no made any changes at all to my laptop ....the error message shows on the bootup screen that "( the wireless module not supported"

the system has detected that a wireless module installed in the system is not supported and disabled it.

WLAN Module ID (702).")

I try to find a solution or problem similar to mine with no result....some of the solution suggested to unplug the laptop battery for 1 min and i stay more than 5 min then I plug it again but with no progress....i thought that the windows update was the issue but unfortunately the windows 10 doesn't have the last known configuration option to avoid any update issues. However, i tried to use the system restore option but was unfortunately not function either....

Beside that I had tried to download the bios update and install it manually in order to try fixing the wireless issue but also unable to update the bios from the windows or using the pin drive.....

Moreover , I tried to use my LAN cable in order to download the wireless driver and reinstall it again but also same issue ....

if there are suggestion to solve my problem will be highly appreciated .....

thanks in advance for your time.....

After many tries since yesterday I solve the problem by myself by removing my WLAN module from the motherboard and clean it with rubber and re plug it again....working 100% for me....and that's it....hope it can help others in the future.....
