Hi:

 

According to the specs, it comes with a dual band Realtek AC wifi adapter, so it should be connecting to the 5.0 GHz wifi band.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to update the Realtek wifi driver to the latest version and see if that gets the wifi adapter to connect to the 5.0 GHz wifi band.
