How do I re-name my HP Envy 6000 printer

Welcome to the HP Community --

If using Windows,

Having added the Full Feature Software,

you can create a new (additional) shortcut for the Printer Assistant for your Desktop and rename that.

Rename the printer in the original shortcut added by the printer software to the Desktop - Not supported

You cannot rename the printer in

Windows 11

Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners

OR

Control Panel > Devices and Printers

Example - Windows 11 - Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners
