Hi:

I have shared a link to my Skydrive folder which has the last Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drivers HP released for the Intel 7260.

Download, unzip and run the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth drivers in the Intel 7260AC WiFi & Bluetooth Drivers.zip file.

SkyDrive - OneDrive (live.com)

Hmm

I get a "Something went wrong" when it takes me to Onedrive.  Then says access denied in small print. My onedrive is in a different email account "Hotmail" whereas I'm logged into HP on my google account.

You're very welcome.

You need this driver for the SMBus Controller:

Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72001-72500/sp72068.exe

You need this driver for the PCI Simple Communications Controller:

Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp87501-88000/sp87981.exe

For the PCI Device, you need this driver:

Realtek PCIe Media Card Reader Drivers

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp84501-85000/sp84713.exe

Thanks again Paul.  That cleared all of the warning signs from Device Manager.

Now Win10 did automatically install a driver for the WiFi version 18.33.14.3 with a date of 2018-09-03 when I reinstalled W10.  Should I still install the WiFi driver you sent me?

You're very welcome.

The Wi-Fi driver from my zip file is newer than the one Windows installed.

It's optional to use the one I gave you.

I used the driver I gave you on my notebook's 7260AC Wi-Fi card for several years and never had a problem with it.
