Hi,
I have this Laptop HP ENVY TS 15-j137tx
I have facing too much Interference issues with my WiFi network.
The solution I got it to get my laptop 5GHz band supported.
Currently it has Ralink RT3290 card but I want to replace it with some card that should support 2.4GHz as well as 5GHz.
I believe RT3290 also has bluetooth in that. so the new card should have bluetooth as well.
As far as I have read, the slot is Half Mini PCIe PCI-Express for this card on my laptop
I don't know which card to order as I am not sure whether it will work or not.
Please guide me in selection of new card.

Your machine was built around late 2013/early 2014 therefore due to the whitelist the chance to upgrade to newer wifi card is very slim. But you can use the following cards (in yellow)
Note: Your machine may only have ONE antenna.
Regards.

I have two questions
what do you mean by whitelist the chance to upgrade to new card is very slim?
shall I order new ? will it work or not ? I will not order if its not comfirmed.
secondly;
how can I check antenna on my machine?

Hi, @Ehtesham-
Your notebook's model series does not have a BIOS whitelist, and this would be the best card for your model...
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 WiFi + BT 4.0 HP Part # 710661-001
The card is readily available on Amazon or eBay.
Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.
Before you install the Intel card, first check the windows control panel>programs>uninstall a program, and if there is any Ralink/Mediatek bluetooth software listed there, uninstall it.
Then go to the device manager, click to expand the Bluetooth device manager category, right click on the Ralink/Mediatek bluetooth adapter listed there, select uninstall, and check the uninstall driver box.
Then click to expand the Network adapters device manager category, and do the same thing to the Ralink wifi adapter listed there.
Then shut down, unplug the PC, remove the battery and install the Intel wifi card.
Here is the link to the service manual.

You're very welcome.
I would have preferred that you use the model I posted with the HP part number, but since your notebook doesn't have a BIOS whitelist, the card you posted should work.
I don't think you need to do anything to get the bluetooth to work. At least you don't with the part number I posted.
I would say that at least a dozen or more forum members have upgraded their 15-j### Intel models to the 7260AC and it worked just fine.
The SPS part number on the card you posted is an HP part number, so I don't know why it wouldn't work...
https://www.ebay.com/itm/233196196808
You can do a search of other posts on the forum where it shows that folks have installed the 7260 AC in their 15-j1XX notebooks and it works just fine.
If you put that card in a 15-jXX model with an AMD processor, I think that is when the bluetooth doesn't work.

Hi:
Here is the most recent positive proof that the Intel 7260 AC wifi card will work in your notebook...
