Network Adapter Not Installed

My mom has an older HP Pavilion Desktop and about a week ago the internet connection just stopped working. When I tell the computer to troubleshoot the problem it says the network adapter is not properly installed and recommends downloading and reinstalling the driver. Of course she can't just download the drivers because the computer cannot get online.

So I have been trying to find and install the drivers manually but after trying about 8 different drivers off the HP website, and performing a network reset it still tells me to download the drivers.

So I have 2 questions.

1. Where do I find the drivers for an old p7-1510 HP desktop?

2. Is it possible that this is a hardware problem, that the adapter itself is not working?

Please keep in mind that it still has all the original hardware, so it should have whatever is listed on the specifications page.

I downloaded it, ran it on my mom's computer and I am still getting the same response. I took some pictures in case that might provide more information.

 

 

 

 

Hypothetically, is it possible that there was an update to Windows 10 that caused the drivers to stop working?
