I am looking to install drivers for WifI access over a 5G network

Hi:

 

Your notebook only has a single band wifi adapter.

 

It is a hardware issue, not a driver issue.

 

In order to get access to the 5.0 GHz wifi band you would need to replace the wifi adapter with one that can work on both bands.

 

The only one available that works with the single antenna cable your notebook comes with is this one...

The card has a maximum throughput of 433 MBPS with an AC router on the 5.0 GHz wifi band, and 72 MBPS on the 2.4 GHz wifi band.

The card has been on back order for ages now on the HP parts store site, but you can get one on eBay.
