The Realtek RTL8723DE 802.11b/g/n PCIe Adapter is experiencing driver -or hardware-related problems.
Even though I have Internet connection (wi-fi) on all my other devices I cannot connect on my laptop. This is the error that is coming up as I try troubleshooting.
No wi-fi network is showing up.

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/lv-en/document/c06386972
It has Realtek RTL8723DE 802.11b/g/n (1x1) and Bluetooth® 4.2 combo which supports 2.4GHz only therefore it can't "see" 5.0GHz networks. Please download and install
