HP Notebook - 15-bw0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Product name: HP Laptop 15-bw0xx

product number:1RJ91EA#ABU

currently have: realtek rtl8723de 802.11b/g/n pcie adapter

this can only support 2.4ghz

i was recommened these two replacements:

Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3168 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + BT 4.2 Combo (non-vPro) part # 863934-855

Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 802.11AC 2x2 WiFi + BT 4.2 Combo Adapter (non-vPro) part # 901229-855

My Questions:

Are these definitely compatible replacements?

which one of the two is better?

i only have 1 antenna built into the laptop so are these compatible? If so then what max speed should I expect from 1 antenna

Can i pay HP to install one of these new cards?

Please check your previuos post and update if required

and do not open new post. The second one is better. You can use existing antenna but won't get full benefit of the new card (may be slower because weaker signals due to one antenna).

Regards.
