Network Controller& PCI Communication

Hi I have just uninstalled win8.1 and installed win7 64 bit ultimate. I have been able to sort out nearly all the drivers but can not seem to get the "network controller" to install. The Intel one states I do not have an Intel network controller any help much appreciated.

And we have no idea what you have or what driver to suggest absent your laptop model number.

Hi:

Please post the hardware ID's for the device listed as a Network Controller.

To find the hardware ID, go to the device manager and click on the Network Controller device needing the driver.

Then click on the Details tab at the top of the Network Controller window.

Now you will see a Property drop down list and it will be set to Device Description.

Drop down on that list and select the 2nd item (Hardware ID's).

Post the top string of characters that you see in the window.

You need this driver for the PCI Simple Comms Controller...

You need this driver for that ID.
