Product: HP ENVY x360 - 15-cp0020nr
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I currently started having an issue with connecting to the internet. I try to troubleshoot it and it says I do not have a network adapter installed or it can’t locate one. By going into my device manager, I do not have a network adapter for some reason, and every other driver is up to date. I’ve tried everything but I can’t get a network adapter. The last thing I can think of is to use the “Add legacy hardware” in the device manager, however I don’t know what network adapter I need to install. Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

The parts list for your notebook indicates that it comes with a RTL8822BE Wi-Fi adapter.
This is the latest driver HP has for that model Wi-Fi adapter:
This package contains the driver installation package for the Realtek RTL8821CE, RTL8822BE, RTL8822CE, RTL8852AE, RTL8852BE, RTL8852CE, and RTL8851BE wireless LAN Controllers in supported computer models using a supported Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system.
