Hi,

I had to install a new SSD in a x360 14-ba019nb after the original one failed on me.

I installed windows 10 19045 on it and i cannot install the WLAN driver. Tried all 3 from the HP support page

intel wlan 21.80.2.1 Rev.P

realtek RTL8xxx 2024.0.8.107 Rev.S

realtek RTL8xxx Series 2023.54.331.2017 Rev.A

All three do not install after successfull extracting ( each one says install in progress then closes after a couple second )

Hi:

According to the product specs for your notebook, it comes with an Intel 1x1 Wi-Fi adapter.

HP Pavilion x360 - 14-ba019nb Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support

W10 should have automatically installed the driver for the Wi-Fi adapter if it is the Intel 3168AC which is the only Intel 1 x 1 AC Wi-Fi adapter listed in the service manual.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to use the latest Wi-Fi driver on the Intel website which should work, if that is the model Wi-Fi adapter your notebook actually has.

Windows® 10 and Windows 11* Wi-Fi Drivers for Intel® Wireless Adapters

If that driver doesn't work either, when the Wi-Fi adapter needs a driver, Windows labels it as a Network Controller in the device manager.

Find the Network Controller device and post the hardware ID for it so I can figure out what model it is.
