HP 255 G3 Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 11

My product serial number on my brand new laptop that I received on Sunday, 4/19, comes up as an old 2015 HP 255 G3 Notebook when my laptop is actually an HP Envy Laptop 17. Network only works sometimes--and when that works, the audio doesn't work. After running system diagnostics, I received the following message:

"No Network adaptor is found or the current network adapter is not supported. Please check the BIOS settings to make sure the UEFI network option ROMS are enabled and that UEFI network boot is enabled."

I haven't checked the network adapter yet because I'm still running system diagnostics. But I'm pretty fed up with this. It's taken my whole day away trying to troubleshoot this. I'm ready to return this and never buy another HP product. I can't get anyone to talk to me about this problem. I've purchased additional warranty, yet this product says that the warranty is expired.
